You are allowed to remarry in the church if you have had an annulment. The Annulment process gave me the closure and validation I felt I needed after the impersonal court process. In addition, Divorce & Beyond helped me process the grief and move on with my life. After a divorce, I was able to step back and take a more objective look as to why the relationship failed. I am now better prepared to know what it takes to have a healthy relationship. I hope you realize that even though you are divorced, you can still participate at Mass and receive the sacraments.

Saw this website in a church bulletin, and thought I'd check it out. Must be new. Not many comments. Been single for 10 years now after a nearly 27 year marriage (in the Catholic church). Life is still not easy; I guess because I'm older. Now prayer just seems to be my answer, and accepting my aloneness. I'm asking for God's strength for those who are going through the very difficult court process during this holiday season. Yes, it is/was brutal! Don't ever want to go through that again!
